After a long wait for 5SOS to return to the UK due to Covid, our favourite Australian band were finally back and better than ever! I was lucky enough to catch them in Leeds for their final show of the UK tour and it was definitely worth the wait.
After being a fan of 5SOS since their early days supporting the One Direction boys on tour, I was beyond excited to see them perform their new music on the Take My Hand Tour. I even got to attend my first sound check for this show was AMAZING!
After an amazingly organised queue for soundcheck, we finally made it into the arena and waited for the boys to come onto the stage. During the soundcheck, they played fan favourite "Valentine" and finished with a first album track "Long Way Home". This really kicked off the night the right way.

Unfortunately, due to an illness, there were no support acts for the night so there was a long-anticipated wait from then on for the boys to return and gosh, was it worth the wait!
Opening with 'No Shame', the whole crowd were on an ultimate high and sang every word (as expected!). Each member put on an incredible show and had more stage presence than ever before, it was so good to see them back doing what they do best.
For me, the highlight of the show was how immaculate the setlist was, from start to finish. There was an even spread between new music including 'Best Years' and 'Wildflower' with throwback favourites like 'Disconnected' (THE ULTIMATE) and 'Castaway'. I danced my socks off all night and felt like I was 14 years old again, living my fan girl's best life.

After an incredible show with stunning staging and visuals and the best setlist I've heard them do for years, I have the highest hopes for their new album which will contain new releases 'Take My Hand' and 'Complete Mess'.
If you want to relive your youth as a wild teen who loved 5SOS this is the tour to go to!
